Other Works
For any other works, including character design and character sheets, these can be discussed and a price can be arranged. For a full character sheet using the above template an estimate price will be £60+ depending on the details. for anything else e.g profile pictures/emotes/line art. these will usally be less then £25
Prices
All the above prices shown are base prices only. Things that might increase the price are complex character designs, number of characters, not being able to provide a good visual reference, complex backgrounds and amount of detail in the image in general.
Backgrounds
Free Background
My free backgrounds include a standard white background, basic colour or gradient, basic patterns and basic coloured shapes.
Basic Background
A basic background will be any kind of background that is more then just a basic colour or pattern but not overly detailed. for example an underwater scene with various fish swimming past and bubbles. or some distant grassy hills in the background with clear blue sky above with a few clouds.
Detailed Background
A detailed background will be anything that has lots of features shown and or somthing that is highly detailed and complex. for example, a messy bedroom with many items and pieces of furniture shown. or a prison cell with detailed cobble stone walls with moss growing aroud it.
Extras
These include anything extra you want in your drawing outside of the main character(s) and background, the price will varry on the complexity of the Item. small items like accessories and small handheld items will not require extra fee's.Price range will be from £5 - £20 depending on the amount and complexity of itemsExmples Include the following:

There will be a small extra charge on adding NSFW features to the drawings (nipples, genitals etc) The type of NSFW art I will draw is:- Artistic tasteful nudity- Playful or embarrassing poses with wardrobe malfunctions- Playboy style pinup pictures (topless or showing bum).I will not draw full blown hentai/porn, extreme close ups of genitals, penetration, sex, X-rays. etc.

Paypal will automatically convert your countries currency to GBP when paying me.Payments can be paid 100% up front or 50% on agreeing to take the commission and 50% after the sketch has been finalised

Terms of Service
If you have a problem with any of these terms, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.
1. General Terms
All drawings may or will include a subtle signature that you may not remove.
I might record the drawing process and share on social media
Prices are subject to change based on demand.
I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.
I May upload the final drawing to my social media and art accounts.
2. Payment
Currency accepted is GBP (Great British Pounds) and can be paid through PayPal. PayPal will convert your currency to GBP when sending me the payment.
Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.
Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.
3. Process and Delivery
Once we have reached an agreement and I have accepted the commission and received the agreed payment. I will Notify you when I start work on your sketch. You will lose the right to a refund after this point.
Once my rough sketch is completed I will send it to you for review, here you can request any changes to be made (pose, angle, placement of items etc). Once happy I will make the changes and send you the updated sketch for it to be reviewed again. I will do this with you as many times as I think is reasonable.
During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress previews, these images will usually include a watermark and be a lot smaller than the finished piece.
Once you are happy for me to continue I will start inking the drawing. No changes can be made after this point but I will confirm with you before I start.
I will send you previews of the progress of the illustration after I finish Inking and then Base colouring (here you can assess the colours and request any changes to them)
The time it takes to finish your commission will vary between 2 weeks to 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work commitments.
If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know asap.
5. Copyright/Usage Policy
I, Liam Short (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
Promote myself with it everywhere
Publish it in an artwork book
Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
The buyer (you) is allowed to:
Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)
Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.
Use the artwork to promote themselves. You are not forced to give me credit when you post it but it is very appreciated.
Use the artwork on your Youtube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
The following is considered copyright infringement:
Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way. (selling prints or putting it on T-shirts for sale etc)
Claiming the artwork as your own
Removing my signature from the artwork
Making major alterations to the artwork without my consent (for example photoshopping the drawing to make it seem offensive or political.) Copying your characters onto different background and resizing them is fine.
I reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased at any time).
6. Customer Satisfaction
I will do everything I can to make my customers happy!
If you have a problem with anything in regards to the commissioned piece please tell me right away so we can find a solution together.
I am willing to change some of my terms for you if you ask before I start on your commission. E.g. If you do not want me to post your art anywhere, we can discuss this.
7. Refund / Cancellation Policy
You may request a cancellation of the commission at any point before I send you the email to say that I have received your payment and have started on the project.
Once you have first made contact with me and we have discussed your commission idea, should I stop receiving emails from yourself I will send out 1 reminder emailing confirming with yourself if you are still interested in doing the commission. Should I not receive I reply from my reminder within 5 days I will assume you are no longer interested and give another customer your potential slot.
You will receive a full refund if for any reason I am unable to complete your commission (due to health or personal circumstances)
If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.
If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all the beforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, Liam Short (the artist), and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. If you have a problem with any of these statements, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying your commissioned piece.
8. What do you get?
Depending on what you pay for you will receive an initial sketch to be reviewed and any following amended sketches. A watermarked inked version of your drawing, a water marked base coloured copy of your drawing
Insight and involvement in color plan (depending on the complexity of the commissioned piece)
Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image at A3 size (4961 x 3508px) at 300dpi. You will also receive a copy of your character(s) with a transparent background so that you may copy and paste the character into different backgrounds and resize for use in profile Icons or Banners etc.
This commission is a digital piece and thus physical artwork will not be sent.
